Riverdale Middle School will be the location for a public astronomy observing night hosted by the River Valley District Library as part of the library’s Space Month.
Activities for children will begin at 6:45pm, with the astronomy program starting at 7:15pm, with public telescope viewing as soon as it is dark enough. Planets Saturn and Jupiter will viewed, along with various double stars, star clusters, galaxies, and other interesting deep sky objects.
The rain date is September 29th, if rain cancels this event.
