Sunset at 8:29 pm. Featured objects include the Moon which will dominate early on. Immediately after sunset, Venus, Mars and Regulus will be in conjunction. Saturn and Jupiter will be late evening objects low in the southeast. M51 (the Whirlpool Galaxy), a colliding pair of galaxies. The Garnet Star, a very red, super giant star and Gamma Delphini (a double star) will be among the featured objects along with many other open clusters and globular clusters, weather permitting.
