Niabi Zoo. Starting at 6:48 am (already in progress at sunrise) ends at 12:04 pm. Mid-transit is 9:20 am. Popular Astronomy Club members will be in the parking lot with telescopes to observe the event. They can answer questions about the event which is rare. The next one is in 2032. The only way to view this event is with telescopes with proper protection (solar filters) from the harsh sunlight. DO NOT attempt to view the event without solar filters as eye damage will occur. Treat it like a solar eclipse for safety’s sake!
